Josie Castaneda * the creator of Off The Mat – bath & beauty with a twist of Yoga. Originally from Mexico, Josie is a designer based out of Brooklyn. Having began her career as a fine artist she currently works in the Fashion Industry. She came to Yoga as a student of philosophy & meditation, is devoted to her daily Yoga practice and is a certified Yoga Instructor in the lineage of Sri T.Krishnamacharya.
Andrea Gallo * a certified yoga instructor living in Tulum, Mexico. Originally from New York, she has a design background with a focus on Color and Trend, which has afforded her the opportunity to travel the globe to research, photograph and gather treasures from abroad. She began her business “Andrea’s Malas” making meditation mala’s to bring to Mexico for her students since they weren’t readily available. She focuses on organizing yoga retreats to Mexico, Morrocco, & Costa Rica. Recently, she began an active NY craft fair schedule to introduce her ‘made in Indian’ fair trade clothing and meditation mala collection to new yorkers.
